Women's Players of the WeekWOMEN'S PLAYERS OF THE WEEK NORTH Jennifer Deyoung, Bellevue Jennifer Deyoung had a great week for the Bulldogs. In Bellevue’s double overtime victory against Olympic, Deyoung hit a three-point basket in the closing moments of the second half to send the game into overtime. In the first overtime, she had four of Bellevue’s seven points and in the second overtime she hit the field goal that put the Bulldog’s up for good. In two games last week, Deyoung had 28 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and five steals. EAST Sadie Short, Walla Walla Sadie led the Eastern Region in scoring, rebounding and assists last week as she helped Walla Walla to a perfect start. Short is a sophomore guard/forward from Touchet HS in Touchet, WA. Last week against in her two games she scored 48 points, pulled down 24 rebounds and 10 assists. WEST Tricia Hamilton, Lower Columbia A sophomore guard from Kelso HS, Tricia Hamilton has had a good week for the Red Devils. In addition to helping Lower Columbia to a perfect start she also was third in scoring and assists and led the Western Region in steals. SOUTH Erica Moore, Portland Erica is a sophomore guard from Lake Oswego HS. In Portland’s game against Southwestern Oregon, she had 17 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists and nine steals to lead the Panthers to victory.
