Regional baseball playoffs begin Friday, May 18

Region baseball playoffs will begin Friday, May 18.

The North and East Regions conduct a 4-way regional playoff to determine the two championship tournament teams. Region champion is guaranteed to go to the tournament, but must win the regional playoff to go as the region's #1 seed.

Bellevue is hosting the North tournament [schedule] while Yakima Valley is hosting the East tourney [schedule].

The West conducts a playoff between the #2 and #3 regular season teams for the West's #2 seed in the tournament. Lower Columbia will be hosting Tacoma for the West #2 seed for a double header on Saturday May 19 starting at 1:30 pm. If the two teams split on Saturday, a third game will be played on Sunday at 1pm.

The South does not have a playoff and will be sending Mt/ Hood and Chemeketa to the NWAACC Championship Tournament.
