Directions to the NWAACC Basketball Tournament at the
Toyota Center in Kennewick, WA
The Toyota Center (formally known as the Tri-Cities Coliseum)
is located on 7100 West Quinault Ave. in Kennewick.
Coming from Seattle on Intersate 82, follow I-82 to the
I-182 exit. This will be the first exit after you pass the town
of Benton City on the Interstate. Follow I-182 into the Tri-Cities.
Take the Kennewick exit (Exit 5A) to go onto Highway 240. You'll
cross the Yakima River and then exit on to Columbia Center Blvd.
Follow it to West Quinault Ave.
Coming from Oregon on Interstate 84, follow I-84 to Highway
395 and head north. Take Exit 113 and turn left on 10th. Then
turn right on Columbia Center Blvd. and turn right on Quinault
Ave.
Coming from Spokane on Highway 395, follow 395 to the
Richland exit on to I-182. Drive past the Columbia Basin College
exit. Take the next exit4 (Exit 12A) and follow Highway 240 across
the Columbia River. Then exit on to Columbia Center Blvd. and
turn left on Quinault Ave.
The directions listed below were provided to the NWAACC office
by member colleges.
BELLEVUE
To gymnasium, soccer
and baseball fields on college campus: From
Interstate 90, take exit 11-B and follow the signs to BCC. Pass
the main entrance on 148th Avenue NE and make a left turn at
the traffic light on NE 24th Street. Proceed west into the back
entrance of BCC and you will see the baseball field. The gym
is located to the south and the soccer field is located west
of the baseball field.
To softball field and tennis
courts at Robinswood Sports Park, 2400 - 151st Place SE: Same directions as above, except make a right turn
at the traffic light on NE 24th Street.
BIG BEND
To gymnasium on college
campus: Going eastbound on Interstate
5, take exit 176 and turn left at the traffic light on Broadway.
After driving three miles, make the left turn at the traffic
light on Stratford Road. Stay in the left lane as you go through
two traffic lights and cross over Highway 17. Turn left and merge
onto Highway 17 and turn right at the traffic light at Patton
Blvd. Continue on Patton for approximately two miles and turn
left on Chanute Street at the BBCC sign. Turn right on the next
street (26th) and the gym is the first building on the left (Bldg.
#2000). Heading westbound on Interstate 5, take exit 179 and
turn right on Highway 17. Proceed on Highway 17 for approximately
four miles and at the sixth traffic light, turn right at the
Patton Blvd and follow the directions above.
To baseball and softball
fields on college campus: Same directions
as above, but do not take the Patton Blvd. exit. Instead, continue
on Highway 17 and take a right at the blinking light at the Randolph
Road exit. From there, take a left turn at 32nd Street and you
will see the fields on the right.
BLUE MOUNTAIN
To gymnasium and softball
field on college campus: From Interstate
84, take exit 207 to Westgate and follow the signs to BMCC. Make
a left turn at Carden Avenue and then make a left turn to BMCC.
The gymnasium and softball field are on the back side of the
campus.
To baseball field: Same directions as above except make a right turn
off of Westgate at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution
and continue on to the baseball field.
CENTRALIA
To gymnasium on college
campus: Going southbound on Interstate
5, take exit 82 and turn left at Harrison Avenue. Head east on
Harrison as the street will become Main Street. Make a right
turn at Iron Street and the gym is located at the corner of Iron
and Walnut. Going northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 81 and
turn right on Mellen Street. Head east on Mellen and make a right
turn at Cherry Street and then make a left on Iron Street. The
gym is on the corner of Iron and Walnut.
To baseball and softball
fields at Fort Borst Park: From Interstate
5, take exit 82 and head west on Harrison Avenue. Get in the
left lane and make a left turn on Johnson Road (Safeway will
be on your left). Turn right after you pass Centralia Middle
School to enter the park.
CHEMEKETA
To gymnasium and baseball
field on college campus: Going southbound
on Interstate 5, take exit 260-A and turn left on Chemawa Road
to cross the freeway. Travel one mile and turn right at the traffic
light on Portland Road. Go 0.8 mile and turn left on Lancaster
Drive. From there, drive 1.2 miles and turn left at the traffic
light in front of the campus. Make the first right turn to get
to the gym (located in Bldg. #7) and baseball field. Going northbound
on Interstate 5, take exit 258 and turn right at the traffic
light on Portland Road. Then turn right at the traffic light
at Ward Drive and another right at the light at Lancaster Drive.
From there turn left at the traffic light in front of the campus
and make the first right turn to get to the gym and baseball
field.
To softball field at Wallace
Marine Park: Going southbound on Interstate
5, take exit 260-A (Salem Parkway) and drive southwest for about
3.5 miles. The Parkway will become Commercial Street NE. Drive
towards downtown Salem for 1.5 miles and turn right on the Marion
Street Bridge. Stay in the right lane as you exit the bridge.
Drive to West Salem on Wallace Road (McDonald's is on your right)
and turn right at the second traffic light at Glen Creek Road.
Go past Roth's Market and the Post Office and straight ahead,
you'll see Wallace Marine Park. Follow the road into the park
and turn left to get to the softball fields. Going northbound
on Interstate 5, take exit 256 (Mission Street). Turn left on
Market Street and follow it for several miles before making a
left turn at Commercial Street. Turn right at Marion Street,
cross the Marion Street Bridge and follow the directions listed
above.
CLACKAMAS
To gymnasium, track,
baseball, softball and soccer fields on college campus: From Interstate 205, take exit 10 (Park Place/Molalla)
which is Highway 213. Follow it for approximately 3 miles. After
you pass the Berryhill Shopping Center on the left side of the
highway, you will need to make a left at the next traffic light
which is the entrance to the campus. Follow the signs to Randall
Hall gymnasium.
CLARK
To gymnasium and soccer
field on college campus: From Interstate
5, take exit 1-C (Mill Plain Blvd.) and head east. Make a left
turn at the traffic light on Fort Vancouver Way and head north.
After you cross the intersection of Fort Vancouver Way and East
McLoughlin Blvd., make the first right turn into the parking
lot to get to the gym. The soccer field is located across the
street.
To track and field facility
on the campus of Hudson's Bay High School: The
track is just south of the Clark College gym, at the southeast
corner of Fort Vancouver Way and East McLoughlin Blvd.
COLUMBIA BASIN
To gymnasium, baseball
and soccer fields on college campus: From
Interstate 182, take exit 12-B and head north towards the Tri-Cities
Airport on North 20th Avenue. CBC will be on your left across
the street from the Red Lion Inn. The gym and fields are located
in the back of the college.
To softball field at the
TRAC Athletic Facility: From Interstate
182, take exit 9 (Road 68). Head north and make a right turn
at Burden Road. The TRAC facility will be on your right.
DOUGLAS
To baseball field at
Mundy Park: Going northbound on Highway
1, cross the Port Mann Bridge westbound to Brunette extit 40B-north.
Make a right turn on Brunette, then a left turn at Blue Mountain
Street (Petrocan gas station). From there, make a right turn
at Austin Street and then a left turn at Hillcrest Street. Go
to Foster Road and the park entrance is at the Spani Pool sign.
EDMONDS
To gymnasium and baseball
field on college campus: Going northbound
on Interstate 5, take the 44th Avenue West exit and turn left
at the traffic light. Turn left at 200th Street SW and follow
it to the EdCC campus. Seaview gymnasium and the baseball field
are on the right. Going southbound on Interstate 5, take the
181st Street exit and turn right on to 196th Street SW. Turn
left at Highway 99 (Aurora Avenue) and then turn right at 200th
Street SW and follow it to the EdCC campus.
To soccer and softball fields
on the campus of Lynnwood High School: Going
northbound on Interstate 5, take the Alderwood Mall Parkway/198th
Place SW exit. Follow Alderwood Mall Parkway and make a left
at 184th Street SW. The fields are on the right. Going southbound
on Interstate 5, take exit 181 and turn right on to 196th Street
SW. Make a right turn at 36th Avenue West then a right turn at
184th Street SW. The fields are on the left.
EVERETT
No athletic events are held on the EvCC
campus.
To gymnasium, soccer
and softball fields at the EvCC Fitness & Sports Center on
13th Avenue & Rockefeller: Going northbound
on Interstate 5, take exit 195 and turn left onto Marine View
Drive. Make a left turn at 16th and follow it to Broadway where
you turn right. Turn left at 13th and the gym will be on the
right. Going southbound on Interstate 5, take exit 198. You will
be on driving south on Highway 529. The highway turns into Broadway.
Make a right turn at 13th and the gym will be on your right.
To baseball field at Everett
Memorial Stadium, 3802 Broadway: Going
northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 192 (Broadway, Naval Base,
Port of Everett) which will be a left exit off of the "fast
lane." Turn left at 39th and enter the stadium parking lot.
Going southbound on Interstate 5, take exit 192 (41st Street,
Mukilteo). At the top of the exit, stay to the right which puts
you on 41st Street. Make a right turn at the first traffic light
onto Colby Avenue. Go four blocks and turn right onto 37th. Turn
right onto Broadway and go two blocks to 39th. Turn right at
39th and enter the stadium parking lot.
GRAYS HARBOR
No athletic events are held on the GHC
campus. To get to Aberdeen from Interstate
5, take exit 104 (US Highway 101) and head west. Take Highway
8 west towards Montesano and Aberdeen (Don't go to Shelton).
Highway 8 westbound becomes US Highway 12. Continue for approximately
40 miles.
To gymnasium on the campus
of Aberdeen High School: As you enter
Aberdeen, you will be on Wishkah Street. Stay in the right lane
as you go over the Wishkah Bridge. After crossing the bridge,
go to the second traffic light on "G" Street and turn
right. Continue for five blocks and Sam Benn Gym will be on your
right. There are parking lots to your left and in front of the
gym.
To baseball field at Olympic
Stadium in Hoquiam: As you enter Aberdeen,
you will be on Wishkah Street. Stay in the right lane and take
a right turn on Alder Street (Pizza Hut is on the corner). Alder
Street becomes Sumner Street. Follow Sumner into Hoquiam and
turn right on 28th Street. Go one block and Olympic Stadium will
be on your right.
To softball field at Bishop
Athletic Complex in Aberdeen: As you enter
Aberdeen, you will be on Wishkah Street. Stay in the far left
lane. Turn left on South "H" Street (third traffic
light past the Wishkah Bridge). As you cross the Chehalis River
Bridge, stay in the far right lane and merge onto Boone Street/Highway
105 (follow Westport/Grayland signs). From this point, you will
travel 2.9 miles on Highway 105 (note: the complex is 1.9 miles
from the entrance to GHC). The complex is on the right side of
the highway.
GREEN RIVER
To gymnasium on college
campus: From Highway 167, take the 15th
Street NW exit and go east. At the intersection of Auburn Way
North, 15th Street becomes Harvey Road and angles to the right.
Turn left at the intersection onto 8th Street NE. It crosses
the Green River and becomes Lea Hill Road, which then becomes
SE 312th Street. Turn right onto 124th Avenue SE then turn left
onto SE 320th Street for the main campus entrance. From Highway
18, go east through Auburn for about three miles and take the
304th Street exit. Turn right on 304th Street, cross over the
highway and follow the arterial through the first traffic light
as the road changes from 304th Street to 132nd Avenue to SE 312th
Street. Turn left at the intersection at 124th Avenue SE and
follow to the main campus entrance.
To Lea Hill (baseball and
softball) fields: The fields are across
the GRCC main campus at the corner of 124th and 320th Streets.
To Southwood (soccer) Field:
From Highway 18, take the Auburn Way/Enumclaw
(Highway 164) exit and turn left onto Auburn Way South. Go approximately
13 miles to 244th Avenue SE and turn right (it's the major intersection
before entering Enumclaw). Follow 244th Avenue SE for one mile
and look for the field on your left.
To Boeing Employees Tennis
Club: The club is located in the northeast
corner of the Kent Aerospace Center parking lot on the West Valley
Highway. The Kent Aerospace Center is on the corner of South
212th Street and 68th Avenue (West Valley Highway). From Interstate
5, take exit 152 (188th Street/Orillia Road) and head east down
the hill and into the valley. Turn left at 68th Avenue (West
Valley Highway), go north about one mile and turn left on 199th
Place. Enter on the east side of the building. Going southbound
on Interstate 405, take exit 1 (Tukwila/West Valley Highway 181).
Make a right turn off the exit, go south on West Valley Highway
and turn right on 199th Place. Going northbound on Highway 167,
take the South 212th Street exit. Turn left off the exit and
head west. Take a right turn on 68th Avenue then a left turn
at 199th Place.
HIGHLINE
To gymnasium, track,
soccer and softball fields on college campus: From
Interstate 5, take exit 149 (if you are coming from Seattle)
or exit 149B (if you are coming from Tacoma). At the end of the
exit, turn right and head west on Kent-Des Moines Road. Make
a left turn at the traffic light on Pacific Highway South and
get into the right lane. The easiest access to the athletic facilities
from Pacific Highway South is to make a right turn onto the unmarked
access road just north of the Baskin Robbins ice cream store.
Follow the access road through the gate into the parking lot.
Once inside the gate, make a sharp right and follow the road
at the north end of the campus into the north parking lot. You
can also reach the athletic facilities by taking Pacific Highway
South and make a right turn at the traffic light at South 240th
Street. Follow the road down a slight hill and turn right into
the south parking lot. The pavillion/gymnasium is located down
a walking path located about halfway down the south parking lot.
LANE
To gymnasium, track and
baseball field on college campus: Going
southbound on Interstate 5, take exit 189 and head west on 30th
Avenue. To get to the gym and track, you need to be in the right
lane and take the next exit (Gonyea Road) as it will lead you
to the front parking lot of the college. The PE building is the
second building on the left side (Bldg. #5). The track and soccer
fields are at the north end of the campus. Parking is available
near the tennis courts. The baseball and softball fields are
located at the northeast end of the campus. To get there, go
westbound on 30th Avenue after exiting Interstate 5 and stay
in the left lane. Make a left turn at the traffic light at Eldon
Schafer Drive. The fields are located on the right.
LINN-BENTON
To gymnasium and baseball
field on college campus: Going southbound
on Interstate 5, take exit 234B to Pacific Blvd. Continue through
Albany and the LBCC campus will be on the right side of the road.
Going northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 228 and travel west
on Highway 34. Take the exit to Highway 99E and turn left at
the traffic light. Proceed north and LBCC will be on the left
side of the road.
LOWER COLUMBIA
To gymnasium and baseball
field located on college campus: Going
northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 36 (Highway 432/Tennant
Way) to the 15th Avenue/Oregon Way traffic light. Turn right
and proceed north and pass Washington Way. LCC's campus and parking
are immediately on your left past McDonald's. The second entrance
into the lot runs back into the gymnasium parking area. Going
southbound on Interstate 5, take exit 40 and turn right onto
North Kelso Avenue. Turn right onto Cowlitz Way, cross the bridge
and continue onto Washington Way. Turn right on Commerce Avenue
and follow to 15th Avenue.
To Northlake (soccer) Field:
The soccer field is next to the LCC campus,
located at Northlake Elementary School.
To Tam O'Shanter (softball
field) Park: From Intersate 5, take exit
39 and head east on Allen Street. Turn right on Kelso Drive,
pass the Red Lion Hotel and turn left on Tam O'Shanter Way. The
softball fields are on the left, just past the Stan Rister Baseball
Stadium.
MT. HOOD
To gymnasium, baseball
and softball fields on college campus: From
Interstate 84, take exit 17 (Troutdale) and travel south on 257th
(Kane Road) for approximately three miles. Turn left at 17th
Street and travel 150 yards before you take the first left into
the parking lot.
NORTH IDAHO
To soccer field and gymnasium
on college campus: Going eastbound on
Interstate 90, take exit 11 and go south on Northwest Blvd. Go
approximately 1.8 miles to the second traffic light (you will
see a large NIC readerboard on your right). Turn right onto Mullen
Road then left at Garden Avenue. After two city blocks, you will
enter the NIC campus. Visitor parking is located next to the
Sherman Administration Building (second building on your left
as you enter the campus). The soccer field is next to the visitors
parking lot. Going northbound on Highway 95, you will cross the
Spokane River before turning right on Northwest Blvd. From there,
follow the instructions that you see above.
OLYMPIC
To gymnasium on college
campus: From Interstate 5, take exit 132
(Highway 16) and head west. Cross the Tacoma-Narrows bridge and
travel approximately 20 miles until it merges with Highway 3
at Gorst. Stay in the outside right lane and head north on Highway
3. Take the Farragut Street exit and turn right. Move into the
inside lane and turn left on Callow Avenue at the traffic light.
On Callow Avenue, move into the inside lane and travel seven
city blocks until you reach 11th Street. Turn right on 11th Street
to Warren Avenue and turn left. Make the left turn at the next
traffic light (just before the Warren Avenue bridge) to the main
entrance of the campus on 16th Street. From the Bremerton/Seattle
ferry terminal, turn right onto Washington Street and go through
the 6th Street intersection (you must be in the left lane by
this time). Washington Street curves to the left (past the Manette
Bridge) and becomes 11th Street. Turn right on Warren Avenue
then turn left at the traffic light at 16th Street to the entrance
on Chester Avenue. From the Kingston-Edmonds ferry, take Highway
104 and head west for about four miles. At the intersection of
Highways 104 and 307, continue straight until you reach the intersection
with Highway 305 (also known as Bond Road) and turn right. Continue
until the next traffic light and follow the curved approach that
merges with Highway 3. Travel south for about 15 miles and take
the Bremerton City Center/Olympic College exit. Turn left onto
Kitsap Way, travel two miles and make a left turn onto 11th Street.
Make a left turn at Warren Avenue and a left at the traffic light
before the Warren Avenue bridge to the main entrance of the campus
at 16th Street. The large student parking lot is located on the
right.
To Legion (baseball) Field:
From Olympic College, take Warren Avenue
towards east Bremerton and cross the bridge. Turn right on Sheridan
Road and the field is about 1/4 mile up the road.
To Pendergast (softball)
Field: Travel Highway 3 to Bremerton and
take the Loxie Egans/Auto Center Way exit. Go west for 1/2 mile
to Union Avenue and turn left. The park is at the top of the
hill on the right.
PENINSULA
To gymnasium, softball
and soccer fields on campus: From Seattle,
take the Seattle/Bainbridge Island ferry. Allow 30 minutes for
ferry crossing plus time in Seattle for ferry wait. When reaching
Winslow on Bainbridge Island, follow Highway 305 through Poulsbo
to Highway 3 (exit on right) and continue to the Hood Canal Bridge.
Cross the bridge and follow Highway 104 until it merges with
Highway 101. Continue on Highway 101 for approximately 35 miles
to Port Angeles.
From Edmonds, take the Edmonds/Kingston ferry. Allow 30 minutes
for ferry crossing, plus time in Edmonds for ferry wait (there
may be delays on Fridays and Sundays). When reaching Kingston,
follow Highway 104 through Port Gamble to the Hood Canal Bridge.
Cross the bridge and follow Highway 104 until it merges with
Highway 101. Continue on Highway 101 for approximately 35 miles
to Port Angeles.
From Tacoma, cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on Highway 16 and
follow north to Gorst where it becomes Highway 3. Drive northbound
on Highway 3 past Bremerton and Silverdale and on to the Hood
Canal Bridge.
From Olympia, take the Interstate 5 exit onto Highway 101 in
Olympia. Follow approximately 3-5 miles and look for the exit
to Highway 101 northbound. Go past Shelton and follow Highway
101 north to Port Angeles.
Once in Port Angeles, you will go past McDonalds and Burger King
and take a left at the traffic light on Ennis Street. Follow
the hill to the parking lot. The gym is at the west end of the
campus. Park on the south side (mountain side) of the parking
lot in any unmarked space. To get to the soccer and softball
fields, drive through the main parking lot to the southwest corner
and take a left onto the service road (next to the power substation).
Service roads lead to the fields and the south entry to the gym.
Do not park in the dorm parking lot (permit only). There is parking
next to the fields.
PIERCE
No athletic events are held on the PiC
campus.
To gymnasium (basketball) at the Lakewood Community Center, 9112
Lakewood Drive SW: Going southbound on
Interstate 5, take exit 127 (South Tacoma Way). Head north to
the first traffic light and turn left onto 100th Street. Head
west through four traffic lights and turn right on Lakewood Drive
SW. The community center will be 1/4 mile up the road on your
left. Going northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 125. Go north
on Bridgeport Way for approximately 1/2 mile and turn right onto
Lakewood Drive SW. After crossing 100th Street, the community
center will be 1/4 mile up the road on your left.
To gymnasium (volleyball)
at Steilacoom High School, 54 Sentinel Drive: Going
southbound on Interstate 5, take the 72nd/84th Street exit and
veer right. Follow 74th Street to South Tacoma Way and turn left.
Turn right at Steilacoom Blvd. then turn right at Sentinel Way.
The street dead ends to the high school and gym parking lot.
Going northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 124 (Gravelly Lake
Road) and turn left. Turn left at Washington Blvd. then turn
right at 112th Street. Turn left at Farwest Drive and follow
it past Pierce College. Go through the traffic lights at Steilacoom
Blvd. onto Sentinel Way which dead ends to the high school and
parking lot.
To Peterson Field (baseball
and soccer) at Fort Steilacoom Park: Going
southbound on Interstate 5, take exit 129 and head west on South
74th Street for approximately 2.5 miles. The road merges into
Custer Road SW. Turn right at 88th Street. After the road merges
onto Steilacoom Blvd., follow it for approximately 1.5 miles
and turn left at 87th Avenue SW (just past Albertsons). The park
entrance is on the right. Going northbound on Interstate 5, take
exit 127 and head north on South Tacoma Way for approximately
2 miles. Turn left at Steilacoom Blvd and follow it for approximately
5 miles. Turn left at 87th Avenue SW (just past Albertsons) and
the park entrance is on the right.
To Clover Park High School
(softball field) at 11023 Gravelly Lake Dr. SW:
From Interstate 5, take exit 125 (Lakewood-McChord AFB) and head
west on Bridgeport Way. Continue on Bridgeport Way for approximately
1/2 mile to the second stoplight at 112th Street and turn left.
Go four blocks to the next stoplight at Gravelly Lake Drive and
turn right. CPHS will be on the right at the corner of 112th
and Gravelly Lake Drive.
PORTLAND
To gymnasium on the PCC
Cascade campus: Going southbound on Interstate
5, take exit 304 and turn left onto Portland Blvd. Cross over
I-5, go three blocks and turn right at Albina Street. Go five
blocks and turn left onto Killingsworth Street. Go two blocks
and the PCC Cascade entrance will be on your left.
Going northbound on Interstate 5, take the Swan Island exit and
stay in the right-hand lane. Go straight through the stop sign
at Alberta Street. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Killingsworth
Street. Go straight through the traffic light at the intersection
of NE Albina and NE Killingsworth. Go two blocks and the PCC
Cascade entrance will be on your left. As you enter the campus,
the gym is on the right, just past NE Kerby Street.
To gymnasium on the PCC Sylvania
campus: Going southbound on Interstate
5, take exit 295 (Capitol Highway) and go right at the stop sign
at Taylor's Ferry Road. Go right at the next stop sign, go across
Barbur Blvd. and up the hill to the fourth traffic light. The
PCC Sylvania campus entrance is on your right. Take the second
street to your left which dead-ends at a stop sign. The gym is
on the second floor of the last building on your left. Parking
lots are to your left and right.
Going northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 298 (Haines Street).
At the stop sign, turn right onto Haines Street and go one block
to the next stop sign. Turn left onto Lesser Road and drive about
1/4 mile. PCC Sylvania entrance is on your right.
SEATTLE
To gymnasium on the North
Seattle CC campus: Going northbound on
Interstate 5, take exit 173 and turn right onto First Avenue.
Turn right at North 92nd Street, then turn right onto College
Way. NSCC is located on the right.
Going southbound on Interstate 5, take exit 173 and turn right
onto North Northgate Way. Then turn left onto Meridian Avenue
North which becomes College Way North. NSCC is located on the
left. The gym is located in the east campus parking lot.
SHORELINE
To gymnasium and soccer
field on college campus: Going northbound
on Interstate 5, exit at 145th Street and head west on 145th
until you reach Aurora Avenue North (Highway 99). From there,
head north until you reach 160th Avenue. Make a left turn at
160th and follow it to Greenwood Avenue North. Make a right turn
on Greenwood Avenue then an immediate left turn onto Innis Arden
Way. As you enter the main gate to the college, make the first
right turn. The gym is in Building #3000 (third building on the
left) and the soccer field is 200 yards past the gym. Going southbound
on Interstate 5, exit at 175th Street and head west on 175th
until you reach Aurora Avenue North (Highway 99). From there,
make a right turn at 160th Avenue and follow the directions above.
To softball field and tennis
courts at Shoreview Park: Follow the directions
above, except pass the main college entrance on Innis Arden Way
and drive 1/2 mile before making a right turn into Shoreview
Park. To baseball field at
Lower Woodland Park on the corner of 50th Street and Green Lake
Way: From Interstate 5, take the 50th
Street exit and go west. Turn right on Green Lake Way and enter
the parking lot on the left.
SKAGIT VALLEY
To gymnasium, baseball
and soccer fields on campus: From Interstate
5, take exit 227 and go east on College Way for 1.3 miles. SVC
is on the left, on the northeast corner of College Way and Laventure
Road intersection.
To softball field: Heading east on College Way, take a left on Laventure
Road. Proceed to the stop sign on Hoag Road and take a right.
The softball field is up the hill on the right.
SO. PUGET SOUND
To gymnasium and softball
field on college campus: From Interstate
5, take exit 104 (Highway 101-Ocean Beaches, Abedeen). Take the
first exit off Highway 101 (Cooper Point, Crosby Blvd.) and at
the stoplight at the end of the exit ramp, take a left onto Crosby
Blvd. You will cross over Highway 101, pass through one stoplight
and come to the intersection of Crosby Blvd. and Mottman Road.
Take a right turn onto Mottman Road and look for the next left
turn which is the entrance to the college.
To soccer field on the Evergreen
State College campus: From Interstate
5, take exit 104 onto Highway 101. Take the Evergreen State College
exit and go two miles on the Evergreen Parkway. The campus entrance
will be on the left and follow the signs to the athletic fields.
There is a parking fee between Monday and Friday when classes
are in session.
SW OREGON
To gymnasium, baseball,
softball and soccer fields on campus: Going
southbound on Interstate 5, take exit 162 (Highway 38) and proceed
west through Drain. In Reedsport, turn left onto Highway 101
and proceed south into North Bend.
Going northbound on Interstate 5, take exit 112 for Coos Bay
(the exit is also a rest stop). Proceed into Winston and turn
left at the first stop light. Stay on Highway 42 through Myrtle
Point and Coquille. Merge onto Highway 101 northbound, about
15 miles beyond Coquille and proceed into Coos Bay.
SWOCC is midway between Coos Bay and North Bend (at the big fuel
tanks). Turn west onto Newmark Avenue and head up the steep hill.
Proceed through four stop lights. At the fifth stop light, Wal-Mart
will be on your left and the main entrance of the college will
be on your right.
SPOKANE
SPOKANE CC
To gymnasium, track and
tennis courts on college campus: Going
eastbound on Interstate 90, take the Thor/Freya Street exit and
turn left on Thor Street. Thor Street will become Thor Place
which will become Freya Street when you cross Sprague Avenue.
Continue north on Freya Street which will become Greene Street
at Mission Avenue. The SCC campus is located at the intersection
of Greene Street and Mission Avenue. Going westbound on Interstate
5, take the Thor/Freya Street exit. Travel two blocks west to
Thor Street, turn right at the stoplight and follow the directions
above.
SPOKANE FALLS CC
To gymnasium, track, baseball, softball and soccer fields on
college campus: Going eastbound on Interstate
90, take the Garden Springs exit. Make a right turn at Sunset
Blvd. and a left at Government Way. Proceed to the traffic light
at Fort Wright Drive and make a right at the light. The campus
is a mile down the road to the left.
Going westbound on Intersate 5, take the Maple Street exit. Go
north on Maple Street to Northwest Blvd. and make a left. Proceed
to T.J. Meenach Drive and make a left. The campus is on the right.
Going southbound on Interstate 395, take Division Street south
to Indiana. Make a right at Indiana and stay right onto Northwest
Blvd. Make a left at T.J. Meenach Drive and the campus will be
on the right.
Going northbound on Interstate 395, take a left on 16th (prior
to entering Spokane). Cross Sunset Street and you are on Government
Way. Make a right at Fort Wright Drive and the campus is on the
left.
TACOMA
To gymnasium, baseball
and soccer fields on college campus: From
Interstate 5, take exit 132 (Bremerton/Highway 16). From there
take the Orchard Street exit towards South 19th Street West.
Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Turn right onto South Orchard
Street and then turn a slight right onto South 19th Street (stay
in the right lane, it will take you back over the freeway). To
get to the gym, stay on South 19th Street until you see the sign
for TACID. Turn right into the campus and go straight. You will
see the gym right next to it. To get to the baseball field, take
a right at the next light onto Pearl Street. The field is on
your left.
TREASURE VALLEY
To gymnasium, tennis
courts, baseball, softball and soccer fields on campus: Going eastbound on Interstate 84, take exit 186A and
turn right onto East Idaho Avenue. Turn left onto SW Fourth Street
and then turn left on SW 11th Avenue. The Easly Gymnasium is
at the top of the hill across the cemetery. Enter the parking
lot between the gym and the resident hall dormitories.
UMPQUA
To gymnasium on college
campus: Going southbound Interstate 5,
go to Exit 129 and turn left at the stop sign. Head east over
the freeway and turn left at the stop sign. Go through the stop
light to the first road to the right which is College Road. Proceed
for one mile to the first road to the left. You will go up a
hill into the parking lot. Take a left to go around to the PE
Complex where the gym and pool are located.
If you are driving northbound on Interstate 5, take Exit 129
and turn left at the stoplight. Turn right at the first road
to the right which is College Road. From there, the directions
are the same as above.
WALLA WALLA
To gymnasium, baseball,
softball and soccer fields on college campus: From
the Tri-Cities, head east on Highway 12 and take the Port of
Walla Walla/Airport Way exit. Turn right at the stop sign onto
Airport Way and proceed to the four-way stop. Proceed through
the four-way stop and take a left into the college entrance (about
100 yards past the four-way stop).
From Spokane, head west on Highway 12. The directions are the
same as above only you would turn left onto Airport Way after
exiting the highway.
From Pendleton, head north on Highway 11 and go through Milton-Freewater.
After crossing the Washington border, Highway 11 becomes Washington
Highway 125. Turn right onto West Poplar Street then turn left
onto South Second Avenue. Continue north on Second Avenue until
US Highway 12. Take the ramp to the left and you should be heading
east. Take the ramp towards the Walla Walla Airport and turn
right on Airport Road, which becomes Tausick Way. Go through
the four-way stop and turn left into the college entrance.
WENATCHEE VALLEY
To gymnasium, baseball,
softball and soccer fields on college campus: From
west on Highway 2, after you cross the Wenatchee River bridge,
the highway becomes Wenatchee Avenue. From the bridge, go 1.1
miles to the "Y" junction with Miller Street. Follow
Miller Street .8 mile to Fifth Street (Safeway store on left).
Turn right on Fifth Street and go about 1/2 mile to the college
which is on the right side. Smith Gym is the second parking lot
on your right.
From east or north on Highway 97 and Highway 2, you cross the
Odabashian Bridge and follow signs into Wenatchee. From Highway
97A (west side of the Columbia River), follow the signs into
Wenatchee. Then follow the directions above to the college. From
south on Highway 28, you will enter East Wenatchee. Stay in the
left lane and follow the signs into Wenatchee, crossing the Senator
George Sellar bridge (but do not exit). Continue up to the stoplight
at Mission Street. Turn left right onto Mission Street and go
1.5 miles to Fifth Street. Turn left on Fifth Street and go .7
mile to the college, which is on the right side. The baseball
and softball fields are located behind the WVC gym. The soccer
field is at the west end of the campus adjacent to the gravel
parking area.
WHATCOM
To gymnasium on college
campus: Going southbound on Interstate
5, take the Bakerview Road exit (exit 258). Turn left onto Bakerview
Road, then turn left onto Cordata Parkway. Turn left onto West
Kellogg Road and the campus will be on your left. Going northbound
on Interstate 5, take the Meridian Street exit (exit 256A). Turn
right onto Meridian street then turn left onto West Kellogg Road
and the campus will be on your left. Basketball and volleyball
activities are held in the Pavilion. Enter through the main entrance
on West Kellogg. The Pavilion is located on the left. Limited
parking is available on the south entrance side. Additional parking
is available on the west side of the Pavilion.
YAKIMA VALLEY
To gymnasium, baseball
and softball fields on college campus: All
highways entering the Yakima area link to Interstate 82. Whether
coming from the north or south on I-82, take the Nob Hill exit
(exit 34) and go west to 12th Avenue. There are signs to YVCC
from I-82 to 12th. 12th Avenue is about two miles from I-82.
Turn right on 12th (at which point you see the lights of Parker
baseball field). Take 12th to Arlington and turn left for one
block and turn left at the softball field to the parking lot
to the parking lot in front of the gym. This is a paid lot in
front of the gym but team vans/buses and game officials/umpires
will be provided a permit by the athletic director.
