Homeless Youth Clothing Drive
The NWAACC is committed to community service and providing assistance to our neighboring communities at all championship events. The NWAACC Softball Tournament has partnered with Janus Youth Programs, who provide Homeless Youth Services in Portland and SW Washington for a clothing drive to support homeless youth. Coaches, please work with your players and staff to collect 3 clothing items or more per player to donate. (Items must be in good condition and washed. They also accept used backpacks, shoes and socks that are in good condition.) We will be presenting all collected clothing items to representatives from the Janus Youth Programs on the night of our banquet. We would like each team to turn in your donation with your teams name and the total number of items that you are donating when you check in for the banquet on Thursday night.
Let’s set a goal for 500 items of clothing for homeless youth!
Tournament Program
An official tournament program will be available for purchase by the NWAACC at the admissions tent. A tournament program will be issued to every team at the coaches meeting on Thursday, May 17, 2012.
