Spokane men and Lane women top day 1 results at NWAACC Track and Field Championships
SPOKANE -- The NWAACC Track and Field Championships got underway Monday at Spokane Falls Community College.
Defending champions Spokane men, looking to win their seventh consecutive title, with 97.5 points has a narrow 13 point lead over Lane (84.5 pts). Clackamas trails the leaders with 40 points while Everett is in fourth with 19 points.
Lane leads Spokane 75-67 on the women's side followed by Clackamas with 42 points and Mt Hood with 35. Defending champions Spokane are looking to win their eighth consecutive title.
Action continues today with the championships wrapping up with the men's 1600 meter relay at 2:05pm.
