National Championships Results

North Idaho Captures 3 National Championships and Six Clackamas Wrestlers Earn All-American Honors.
February 25, 2007 - Rochester, MN. - North Idaho College (NIC) dominated championship action with three National Champions in the 141, 184 and 197 weight classes.  NIC's Kyle Sand landed an upset over Highline's top-ranked Brad Padgatt in a 10-6 decision for the 184 lbs crown.  Padgatt is the reigning Region 18 184lbs Champion and hadn't lost to Sand in three previous matches. Four NIC wrestlers placed to earn All-American.

Clackamas enjoyed an amazing tournament with six of its wrestlers earning All-American honors.  Only Iowa Central, the NJCAA Team Champions, placed more All-Americans (7). Clackamas trophied in the 5th place spot for NJCAA Div I programs.

Southwestern Oregon also finished in trophy position at 6th place and accounted for three All-American wrestlers
