Former Spokane Sasquatch Hoops Star, Griffon Jones Named to the Pacific West Conference First-Team
Former Eastern Region MVP and Sophomore All-Star Game participant, Griffon Jones (Cheney, WA) was named to the Pacific West Conference First-Team.
Griffon is the brother of DeAngelo Jones who just finished an extremely successful two-year career with the Sasquatch. DeAngelo was named to the 2011 All-NWAACC Tournament Team and was voted MVP of two preseason tournaments during the 2011-12 season before suffering a season ending knee injury that required surgery during the first Eastern-Region game of the season.
Griffon is considered by many to be one of the best low post scorers and rebounders in Sasquatch history. His success followed him to NCAA II, Dixie State where he started all but one game in his two years with the team. Click here for view the official press release
